In this first picture during World War 1 there were trenches. Why are trenches there? That way when they're in danger, they have to take cover from explosions, gun firing, and dangerous chemicals take can kill them, instead of running to them because if you run to them, then they will kill you automatically. Plus when you have a gun or something to throw, you have something to be protected by the enemy.
In the second picture there are people wearing gas hoodies. They're wearing gas hoodies because there is gas happening and someone must of thrown the gas bomb and now it smells really bad and good thing they have them on because once you breathe it in you will die.
In the third picture The soliders are getting ready/ preparing for the war. Why are they preparing for the war? So that way when they are in the war, they can fight for the U.S. or Germany. Also they have to listen to directions and also have to repeat what the instructor says. He might say that "Some of you may not survive but if you do then you're lucky."
In the fourth picture destruction may occur, because if there is people inside the buildings hiding then the enemy team will find you and kill you. They will find you by throwing grenades, or shoot through the walls, doors, or windows. But if there in the field then there won't be destruction happening, other than destroying cars, or anything destructive. Only in the town destruction will mostly happened.
In the fifth and final picture, after the war is over there were people that are dead on both sides, but there were some people that were lucky enough to survive. The people can see there families when they survived, but when the people are dead they can't. Also after the war, they'll have a furnal service to remember our loved ones in the war and fought really good too.
